New material has been discovered relating to the Declaration of Independence - the 15th May 1776 Resolution of Independence signed by John Hancock, President. Was sent to Silas Deane our agent in France and presented to King Louis XVI. Eight pages of notes by Count Vergennes to best prepare him as this is a project worked on my the Count before the end of the French and Indian War in 1762. The Count had worked with King Louis XV who had potentially been working on the concept much longer. King Louis XV was the grandfather of the XVI and he died in 1774. One can see the outline of a rehearsal for the Revolution. While it is not understood now, these notes and additional historic events relate to the ultimate success of the Revolution.Product details
